DA Take on IDTA Exams
On 24th March, our students took to the floor for their IDTA exam sessions.
Congratulations to our pupils who took part in our IDTA exam session.

NEW CLASS ALERT 🚨
From the 4th April, we have added a brand new class for boys only!

We're Hiring!
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team 🌟
This job role will suit a young person who has trained in dance and is looking to take a step towards a teaching career. They must love working with children of all ages and feel confident around children too.
They will also be required to take on small admin tasks such as answering emails, phone calls, social media, taking content, reception, stock take etc.
Pay will be dependent on age/experience & hours are to be discussed but will be in the evenings. Must be self employed (we can help with this) and must be enhanced DBS checked or willing to apply for an enhance DBS check.
DA Christmas Show 2024 🌟
On the 10th December 2023, we put on our annual showcase for all friends and family. Our theme - The Movies. We had 95 children take part in our show and it was the best show to date. All of the kids had so much fun performing their hearts our during their solos, group and pairs routines. The passion and drive from all was completely unmatched! We are so proud of them all and cannot wait for 2024!

Christmas Grotto
This year, Dance Affinity will be putting on their very first Christmas Grotto. With the huge success of our summer fun day, we decided to bring the festive cheer for Christmas. You can meet Santa, play on inflatables and do some last minute shopping from our stalls. Entry is completely free but pre-booking is required for Santa.

What an amazing weekend in Blackpool with some of our dance family! We had the best time away, we’ve laughed so much & we’ve cried lots of happy tears

Now we have hit October and Halloween only around the corner, that also means its time to prepare for our Annual Christmas Showcase!
With our Christmas Showcase theme set in stone, its now time to start preparing all of our students across all classes for their routines. Not only that, we are finalising the venue and additional surprises along the way.

Our adult fitness class 'The Jungle Body' is now available to book and is starting on the 24th August 2023! An easy-to-follow, mood-elevating, high intensity fusion of Boxing, Cardio, Dance and Sculpting set to the hottest beats. Our Cheer Inclusive class is now available to book. The class for ages 4-18 years is designed for those this special educational and additional needs to express themselves using dance, acro and cheer techniques. Family Fun Day!
On 2nd August 2023, we hosted our FIRST EVER family fun day. The day featured a diverse range of activities catering to all age groups, from thrilling games and friendly competitions to creative arts. Live performances by our incredible dance students kept the crowd entertained, while delicious food options satisfied appetites. The event's venue space and clearly marked activity zones contributed to a seamless flow of attendees. Overall, the family fun day provided a wonderful platform for families to bond, and create cherished memories in a safe and lively environment.
Thank you to everybody that attended to make it such a successful and enjoyable day. We are so happy with the incredible feedback we have received for our first event. Keep a look out for further events that may take place in the future 👀💙.
Floorshow & Presentation Day!
On the 16th July, Dance Affinity held their Floorshow and Presentation day for family and friends. All of our students had a chance to showcase the skills they have gained from their classes as well as their group and solo routines.
For all of our students which completed their IDTA examinations this year, they where all presented with their certificates, badges and plaques.
We are super proud of all of our students and everything they have achieved this year so far. We can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings! Congratulations to everybody! 🏅💙
